Ook Siri heeft enkele easter eggs. Wanneer je haar bijvoorbeeld vraagt welke gsm de beste is, zal ze daar meestal een entertainend antwoord op geven. Onlangs is er nog zo’n easter egg ontdekt in Terminal. Wanneer je een bepaalde code invoert dan geeft Terminal je het verloop van de Lord of the Rings trilogie.
Om dit te doen moet je de Terminal applicatie openen en het volgende invoeren:

Deze command zal geen enkel effect hebben op je beliefde Mac, maar het zal gewoon een tijdsverloop weergeven van het verhaal van Lord of the Rings. Indien je liever meteen het resultaat wil of als je een Windows computer hebt, kan je hieronder het resultaat van het commando zien.
